ICPC for us (we live in CA, baby was born in IL) was 3 days. We had to stay another day for court because the attny was out of town and couldn't do it the day before.
I should say - that is 3 days AFTER relinquishments were signed.
hmm not sure why CA would be one of the slowest moving ICPC states - each agency has the ability to take care of the paperwork rather than it having to go to one office in the state.
Oh I should also say - this was just June of 06! Things can change DRASTICALLY in a short amount of time.
The standard answer we've always been given is 5-10 business days after relinquishments for just about any state. There are a couple that require a longer stay though.
