My son is still on it too, although we was just recently adopted.

Click in the yellow are where it says

Банк данных о детях-сиротах and the data bank will appear and you can search using different parameters. For instance I found my son by selecting male, year of birth and region he was in. I tranlasted his month of birth and first name to Russian so I knew what to look for. Once I thought I found him, I then used bablefish to translate that webpage to confirm. It was a nice way to get a baby picture of him. I eventually got the same picture when brought him home.

When I used bablefish going from page to page didn't work. So that is why I figured out what to look for in Russian. It took me all of 5 minutes to find him.
