I like to listen to the 'wood song' by the indigo girls... not because it makes me think of how great my son in Haiti is, but because it reminds me that most really great things in our lives come at something of a struggle-- but they are SO worth it!

(And it's the sweet melodic voices of the indigo girls and their guitars... and a violin... you really can't beat it.)

Sometimes I ask to sneak a closer look;
skip to the final chapter of the book
and then maybe steer us clear from some of the pain it took
to get us where we are this far.

But the question drowns in it's futility,
