I have a neat story about a song. My husband and I were in process to adopt a baby boy from Nicaragua. Things were not going well, and I did not know what to do. I am a teacher, and I was at school in class when I just KNEW that I had to go down to Nicaragua. I had no reason; my lawyer said I probably would not even get into the orphanage to see my son.
I went anyways, 3 weeks later. I was able to get in to see Timo. In fact, I was issued and open pass for the days I was there. I spent about 7 hours a day with him.
I was leaving to come home when I got a call from my lawyer. Our paperwork had been approved, and we were officially going to adopt this baby. Also, the gov't had offered to let me foster him until we got the final adoption decree. I was ecstatic! Finally, after all of our issues here, it was happening! This call had come while I was in the orphanage saying goodbye. I told him a much happier, "See you in a few weeks," and went out to my car. The driver turned it on, and on the radio was Celine Dion's song to her baby boy (I still don't know the title. Does anyone??). I sobbed. God has really let me feel his presence lately. He put all of this in motion, and even when I thought it would never happen, He was there. He is here now! I am in Nicaragua with my son!!
So, I now have a song for my baby. I wish I could get the CD here, but I will ahve to wait until I get back home!!
