Does anybody know what happened to the month of May? Seriously, I don't remember it
Any way, CJ has had her early intervention evaluation for her speech delay, & was determined not to need therapy because she has the normal vocabulary, she just uses sign language instead of speaking. And, in the weeks since the evaluation, she has had an explosion of trying new sounds & some words. The eval process was really neat & I feel much more comfortable knowing there is not a problem, than wondering if there might be one. It also showed some areas that she needs a little work on, however, I think she just chose not to show all of her skills to those strange ladies in her livingroom.
And the best news .... we finally heard from family court that our finalization day will be on the 14th!!!!!!!!
Two weeks shy of 1 year home, I am not thrilled with my atty or the new chick at our agency, but at least they finally got their stinking act together, & got it all right!
