Hi. My nieces who are AA/CC started out w/ the same time of hair. My sister did the same in the beginning. When L (the oldest) was a few months old, it started curling more. OOh she had the prettiest curls on the top of her head! Eventually, it has gotten MUCH more curly, although she'll straighten in w/ a flat iron once in a while when she wants it to look long "like mommy's".

I can't remember how old they were when she started using the conditioner on it. I guess just be sure it's not getting too dry. She uses a product in a hot pink (and purple now? used to be hot pink and green) that smells GREAT. I think it's called Just for Me or something. She uses this after she washes it, then in the mornings when she does their hair (it makes it MUCH easier to work with).

There have been some very good threads somewhere here about this. I'll try to find some for you. I think they might have been on another board.
