VN has no policy on picking the gender of your child. BUT many times agencies have their own policys that they make SOUND like it is a Country requirement.
The ONLY country I know if that does NOT allow you to request gender is Korea, and they ONLY do that if you don't have a child in the home.(i.e. if you have a little boy you can request a little girl)
