To my daughter
J. is my son by birth and shared history.
S.(step-daughter) is my daughter by shared history.
T. (step-son) is my broblem-child by shared history but no less loved.
You are my baby and always will be by birth and though you think we have no history we do. I fought to get you into this world-yes even in pre- Roe vs. Wade America. I wanted to keep you but in the end gave up convinced that it was best for you and knowing that it was not best not best for me. I have prayed for you since the day I found out I was pregnant and will continue to do so until I die.
