My story is a little different, This is my husband and I 2nd marriage, I have 3 children from my previous marriage and after giving birth to my 3rd I had my tubes tied. My husband has 1 child. Therefore we do not have chidren together.( I hate using this terminology because we have 4 beautiful children together but not that we dont share with our x spouses) anyways we researched having surgery to reverse my tubal ligation a lot cheaper that IVF but not sucessfull enough for me to shell out that kind of money for a maybe. Then we looked into IVF and we decided for a little more money we could have a better chance on having a child by addoption not to mention we could specify ONE child instead of a multiple pregnancy, since we do have 4 children already it wouldnt be practical to have 2-4 more babies with IVF(OOOOhhh that would be scary)
