We tried for about 2 years and then had preliminary tests done. After they all turned out fine, the fertility specialist said the next step would be hormone pills. We weren't that stuck on having a biological child and were getting frustrated by the stress each month waiting to see if anything happened (of course if I had known then what I would be going through with adoption, I may have been more open to other options!)
