We not only skipped fertility treatments, we skipped trying to get pregnant altogether.
When we decided we wanted a family (I am 39 and he is 51), I was on medication, and was unsure if I would ever get off it. I didn't want to risk a pregnancy while on this stuff, so we decided to adopt. Ironically, I'm now off all medication and doing well. We ahve no second thoughts on adoption, though.
