Can I ask specifically what you didn't like about it (beyond it having some of the typical campy Lifetime moments)? DS's bmom loved it for the most part, as it showed people that it isn't easy for anyone or uncaring to place a child for adoption, that raising a child on your own or at a young age is a very difficult thing to do, and that the word "birthmother" was used instead of not referring to her at all. (yes, we know here that we should use such terms as "potnetial adoptive parent","expectant mother", "potential birthmother" or other variations, but for the typically uneducated-about-adoption population, getting into such technicalities would be too hard to follow) Both of us also liked that it showed how an open adoption can work and how that relationship/bond can not only stay there, but be okay. I don't know....they seemed to show the main character as a pretty smart, loving, and strong teenager.
