My sil's & mil always give us stuff to hang on the walls! We have plaster/brick walls that need a concrete bit. I can't tell you how many pictures, prayers & paintings have been given to us. Our sons room is stenciled...not much space for more "things".
I'm grateful for the clothing gifts...even if they aren't my taste...he wears them to daycare.
Like the pp, I take a picture of him in the outfit and send with the thank-you note.
