If you don't mind my asking what age did you first decide to adopt. I was 8 there was a telethon on TV Jerry's Kids or some such thing and I knew from that moment on. I was married in 97 but my husband and I did not discuss how we felt on the issue of children unfortunately we did not agree. I tried to have biological children only to find out four years and five miscarriages later that we could not. I was ready to adopt and now had a reason to convince him. But life doesn't always work out as you planned. I was made to choice between David or the mere possibility of children someday. As you can see I made my choice and here I am now. So to get back to my point and I did have one was, Think and think again but above all be vocal about your choices don't worry what others think. You only have to look at yourself in the mirror.
