I think you have this handled pretty well. A short conversation with the caseworker, maybe even checking your blood sugar while the caseworker is in your home would clarify the issue. Having large animals we have plenty of needles, syringes, antibiotics and so forth. I keep them will out of reach and when I have to give an injection I make sure and pull the dose inside and explain everything.........now since it's near impossible to hang an IV for a cow you have to use these massive syringes with accompanying needles and give frequent injections. the kids (foster and other) that aren't familiar with this get bored quickly with the hour on hour injections. Of course I have to admit using this to my advantage on a few occasions..........."are you sure you're really sick........okay then..I'll be right back with some medicine."....by the time I'm leaving their room a miracle has transformed the sick a feeble child into the picture of health and vitality. I guess I watched to many "little rascal's" shows to be fooled!!!LOL!!!
