Sesame Street has always had a place in my heart; in fact, I can't wait for my daughter to come home just so I can watch it again. And I did cry when Mr. Rogers died.

I've been out of the loop as far as children's shows are concerned since my son is Animal-Planet-All-The-Way now, but I used to love Zooboomafoo and the Kratt Brothers. And Magic Treehouse was fabulous.

I wish MPT woudl take a poll, as it seems there are a lot for really young children (Teletubbies, BooBahs), but not so much for the almost-school-age children. My son was never into Barney, but did like the songs on the Wiggles, although that was toward the end of his time watching the "kids' shows."

I could not tolerate Caliou, though luckily my son never could either. Is that one still on?
