I just received a sibling set of 4 girls this evening. (m
It's my first respite duty. This is Wednesday and they will be with me until Saturday 10 am. I will take them and pick them up from school on Thursday and Friday. I will not have to feed them breakfast or lunch as they get that for free at school. So I only have to feed them 3 meals while they are here and snacks. Foster Mom (Grandmother) brought all clothes, toothbrushes, paste, and shampoo. I get $12.50 per day per child so $150.00 total. I don't know how often I'll get respite opportunities. I was not planning to do respite care but here I am. Can't say "no". Loving it! I get there are more respite care opportunities in the summer months though as that's when most folks want to take vacations. Good luck! Marsha
