I teach First Grade in a school in San Antonio TX...I've talked openly about what adoption is and have had the support of parents. So when a child asks questions, I try to be as honest as possible. I truly thought we were through with the questions from this particular class, but today I was asked about my first son after a little girl was admiring his picture on my desk.
"Mrs. B., was J.R. born from your tummy?" asked a sweeet little girl.
Another girl piped up, "NO, KAYLEE...He was born from another WORLD!!!"
