Every county in Ohio is different unfortunately! We are in Medina County and did not wait 6 months, used a copy of the same homestudy we already had, needed no attorney and it cost $150. Our SW from our HS agency said every county in Ohio is different in their requirements, she is also an adoptive parent. Sure hope you can get things worked out. (Maybe they could call Medina County! ) The Probate court handles the readoptions and you can find the number by googling Medina county Probate Court. Best wishes!
