Hi Everyone!
This is my first foray into the world of on-line forums . . . I've been reading the forum for a couple weeks now, and am ready to join in.

My husband ("dh", right?) and I are in the process of adopting our first child. We're in our homestudy now, and our agency will start showing our profile to bfamilies in June.

Adoption is our first choice for building our family. (We plan to add bio kids later, hopefully.) We are choosing adoption specifically to become a multi-racial family (hubby and i are CC) and so far, the extended family has been pretty supportive.

We're in upstate NY, and working with Adoption S.T.A.R. in buffalo. (if anyone has any experience with this agency, please PM me.)

That's about it. Just wanted to introduce myself.
