Hi,

We just did this for the military, and just so you know, it took over 2 months to get our money.

There's not anything that says "Final Adoption" on it (unfortunatly). The Protocolo is the adoption decree. You'll need that and the BC Notarized as "True and Original Copies". Just bring them to a notary and they'll copy the documents and type what's needed on the document.

I think we also provided a copy of the Guatemalan Passport/Visa, showing she came home with an IR-3.

We're in NC, and yesterday we got the baby her Certificate of Foreign Birth from the States Vital Statistic's Office. When I showed them the Protocolo, they said it's not the final adoption decree. They used the single paper that has the head of PGN's signature on it as the final adoption decree. So, who really knows. JAG apporved us with the Protocolo.

I hope this all makes sense!
