We are in the process of adopting a sib group of 4. They were placed in our home Dec 2005 as a short term foster (the case worker made a point of making sure we understood that it was foster only) We entered the state social service arena to do straight adoption. But we were not matched at the time my Husband was getting deployed so I chose to foster while he was gone for a year. He is now back and we are waiting for all the paper work and such so the kids will be legally free. There is also a 5th sibling that will be sopted by his foster family. We went from 0 to 4, this is our first placement.
