you could ask your agency to ask the lawyer if he/she'd be open to talking to you. my agency was familiar with this lawyer; they had told me he would be open to speaking, and once we started becoming frustrated they suggested it and of course we took them up on it.

minor birthmoms take longer; i don't think they ALWAYS have to take significantly longer as every case if of course different.
