We are trying to install baby gates. We tried to put one on the top of our stairs but are banister is wacky.
It sits on a ledge before the banister starts. So it is very thick on the bottom and thin on the top. So there is a huge gap on the top part. Like we would have to put a piece of wood there before we could attach the top part of the gate. We tried to attach the gate higher but then little guy can roll under it. That won't work. Hmmmmmm..... any ideas out there? My husband thinks he can wing it. I don't want him to wing it on the top of our stairs. That is an important place to have the safest gate. Not a wing it gate.
