lol, i think the ocd with cleaning, lids and closed cupboards and doors is a toddler phase. I had that, but by the teen years you needed a bulldozer to cross the bedroom. dd's ocd is with lids and closed doors. must close everything or the world ends! I'm kind of enjoying the neat freakness in her, though I wish she felt the same about her toys and her books!
the world is made up of those who put lids back on and those who don't. I don't and married a guy who does (engineer). so we have two separate tubes of toothpaste, one without a cap covered with dried toothpaste and assorted "things" and squeezed from middle (he hates that!) and his neatly rolled from the bottom tube with a lid and clean, clean, clean!!! it will be interesting to see what dd does...she's a xerox of her bmom's and my personalities, so it will be hard to say nature or nurture, lol. I think she'll just be doubly stubborn and controlling
