SS & Tax Credit
Hi:
We did have to have our daughters social security number. We came home in June 2005. We were counting on a nice return to help pay off some adoption bills and help with a reduced income of my now part time schedule.
I applied for our daughters SS # the first week of december and had it in about 3 weeks. I think you may still have time if you do it now.
