We brought beef jerky, snack size packs of cookies, cheese & crackers, gold fish, 2 jars of peanut butter, and special k bars. I also took a squeeze bottle of strawberry jam - it comes in a plastic bottle, so it was convenient. That way, we just bought bread once we got over there and had PB & J sandwiches whenever we wanted one!
For our son, I brought the Gerber fruit puffs - which he loved, as well as the gold fish and cheerios. Once we got him to the hotel, he loved the soup from room service.
