We were going to adopt from the Philippines. DH is 1/2 Filipino. So we thought that would help give us "an in" but they don't allow you to get ahead of others, which I can totally understand. Then our SW said it takes up to 30 months to get a referral! So that's why we changed to China. Our SW has a couple that's been waiting over 2 years already...they must have alot of patience
Maybe for our 2nd child we'll go there to get a boy - boys are easier to get there.
