Male Looking for birth family. Was born August 1, 1964 in Los Angeles County. Birth mother was born in Michigan and moved to California sometime before my brth. Have two half brothers that I know of, they were 5 and 3 when I was born. Birth father was from Texas and was in the Marines. Mothers maiden name was Jones, Birth father was Stahl and birth mothers husband was King, I think (could be the other way around for the men). My birth was listed in the CA Birth index giving me all three last names. These names were confirmed by a worker at the Records department in Sacramento (though he wasn't supposed to, he was shocked to see that I had so many official names that he let it slip). Don't know if birth mother was married in California or before she moved there. Tend to believe she was already married when she moved to California, since she was 22 when I was born, making her 17 when oldest son was born. Brothers: both, one or neither could have been born in California. Birth mother's mom and step father were living in Illinois in 1964, so the marriage may have taken place there (am trying to get a Search Angel in Illinois to help me check this out) Wanting to check the Long Beach/Los Angeles directories and newspapers for that time period to see if anything stands out that may point to parents. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I live in Kentucky, so I cannot do physical searches myself.
