I'm not Catholic bashing but here are my 2 cents: Mom was Catholic and dad wasn't so me and my siblings were "supposed" to be raised Catholic. Didn't happen. The Catholic Church, along with every major religion, is hypocritical. Not just with gays but also with priests and nuns not having sex but lay people procreating and not using birth control. Organized religion takes what it wants from the bible and puts twist on it. Hence, you have more people who are spiritual, but not church-going. It's not you, it's the church. And again, it's not just the Catholic Church; you'll find hypocrisy in every major religion and church.
