I introduced myself a couple of weeks ago and now I am saying goodbye as my family moves to the Korean adoption program. As we went further into the application process, we discovered that we did not meet China's asset/liability ratio requirements because of my dh's medical school loans, even though we far exceeded their income requirements. Although we were very disappointed, we have researched two other programs offered by our agency and are currently filling out our application to adopt from Korea. We feel confident in our new decision and are excited to get started. There are a lot of positives about the Korea program, including the fact that no official dossier is required!
