I guess my main "issue" is - we could absolutely take in 3-4 children on our own income without any help...to do this we would have to give up stuff like entertainment expenses, etc. (which I would be more than willing to do!)
Shouldn't I just give those things up rather than use state aid??
**Please understand..I would LOVE to have the extra $$ to help with groceries and stuff, but I am just trying to make sense of it in my own frugal head
