I'm new to the forum, and wanted to introduce myself. I live in the Twin Cities, and am adopting two brothers, ages 10 and 6, as a single parent. I've learned a lot reading the various threads and posts. I'm so glad you're all here!

Next week, I'm going to GC for a second visit with them. Carlos will be having his birthday while we're there.

Here's my question: Do any of you know what the customs are in Guatemala for birthday celebrations?

I'm looking forward to celebrating with both of them!
