Jody - we adopted through the equivalent of CAS here in BC. Our little ones were 17 months (son) and 8 months (daughter) when we brought them home. (now 4 1/2 and 1 1/2) They are the sweetest most adorable kids around. It was a very positive experience for us. It happened pretty quick too - about 20 months from the time we submitted our initial application (then classes, homestudy - which took long) to placement, the second time only 3 months (we only had to update our HS).
