We received the call at 7:55 yesterday morning. When I picked up the phone, the first thing our agency asked was "Myrna, have you checked your email. You might want to do that right now." I tore into our bedroom and made my husband jump a mile high (he was still sleeping). Our cats, sensing my excitement, started bouncing on the bed and computer desk like rabid little rabbits. The minute we pulled up her picture, we fell in love.

The next hour was a blur... looking up her medical info, calling the agency, discussing it with eachother.. We then called back and accepted the referral.. Then I had to run out of the house because I had planned to meet a forum friend, Kelley (Kelleymac), for coffee... Boy, I was such a spaz!!! I'm sure my husband was happy to see me leave the house for a bit.

Nuestra Chiquitita was born Jan 30th in Escuintla.

As of Feb. 11th, she weighs 6lbs, was 49 cm long, and had a head circumference of 34 cm.

And I think she is soooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL!!

We plan to post her name later on.
