Pinkheart! I'm not at the adopted phase yet, still waiting, but I have gained 25 pounds with this process over the last year!
DH's sister came by this weekend and said something. She wasn't mean, it's just how his family is. And she said to me that after we are placed I can get started on losing that baby weight! LOL! It struck me funny. Maybe it's a sympathetic pregnancy?
I think really, it's that I've been so consumed with the adoption, exercise isn't such a priority right now. I feel so out of control, all I can do is sit by the phone and go online and chat with fellow adoption triad members.
Sigh.
