Hi,

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend going through a difficult time medically. She has been going through the adoption process for China and was due to receive a referral in the next few weeks. She was also diagnosed with breast cancer and just finished treatment. Her agency has now told her she has to put her adoption on hold until she has been cancer free for 3 years. This adoption was the thing that got her through the difficult treatment process so now she is devastated. I just wondered if this was a country rule or agency or if she had any options left.
