I just wanted to say congrats!

We originally (very, very originally) were considering Korea because dh's sister-in-law (and mother of our nieces) is a Korean adoptee. Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to adopt from Korea right now because of my weight (overweight) and, even more important, we don't live in a state that has an agency with a Korean program. (I believe this is a requirement for Korea).

I have heard Korea spoken of being a well-oiled wheel for international adoption, mainly because they have been doing it so long AND because the country has become more prosperous (better medical care and foster care, I think) in the last few years.

Good luck to you!

D.
