hi

Hi,

My hubby and I were initially looking to have one kiddo placed with us and we got three, now adopted, but at the time of foster placement they were 3 months, 2 yrs, and 4 yrs. All three of my kids had some clothes and a few supplies because they were living in a foster home at the time, but sometimes you may kids the kiddos straight from thier original homes and they may not have much.
I recommend going to a garage sale or a clearance rack and getting 2 generic outfits of 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2t, 3t, 4t, 5t, and 6t. Then you are covered for at least 2 days and if you get comfy outfits they can sleep in them. Don't spend a lot, that'd just be enough to dress them till you can shop. And you can sell or donate the sizes you ended up not needing.
Also, have a binky, a bottle, bedding for the 3 beds you have, a few toys like the large legos, foam blocks (they are WAY safer than wood blocks trust me) animals, dinasaurs, kitchen toys and fake food are great, all of my kiddos play with all those things.
My kids all love the fridge fonics set also, it's a big upgrade from the old style fridge magnet alphabet, it talks to them, bright colors, fun for all ages.
I'd also maybe have a can of formula on hand.
If you stick with primary colors and a general themed room it'll look great for boys and girls, you can add the finishing touches later.
Hope I didn't overload you, lol, I tend to ramble.

Good luck and congrats on getting certified!
Carrie
