Hi all,
I frequent another board most often, but have always felt so welcome to post here so I hope you don't mind. My son definately has allergies and we had a very scary experience with a new food when he was only about a year old. I now always tell anyone who will listen how very important it is to keep benadryl everywhere, in all diaper bags, at school, in the car... you never know. It could never happen to you, but if it does it can get really scary really fast. Just being prepared either way makes sense to me. I thank God every day I had Benadryl in the house when this happened even though it only got us to the er.
I don't know about the rest of you, but my son's doctor is really battling me on the allergy thing. He SWEARS it is just about impossible for a child under 2 to even have allergies. I think my kid is definately proving him wrong. We can't even walk into the park, there is jasmine there, without his nose turning into a faucet and his eyes getting itchy and red. And, I know he has post nasal drip...
I am really interested to hear about your experiences with this as well.
Thanks for letting me drop in...
