We are also CC and adopted a BR boy but were open to full AA as well. We were actually picked before our homstudy was completed for a baby born situation. I have the feeling our agency purposefully delayed our homestudy so that we would not use another agency for placement. So from the time we turned in the paperwork for the homestudy until placement was about a month and it was an agency pick. There were no waiting families who were open to AA/BR
I would find out how many people at your agency are currently waiting that are hoping to adopt AA or BR. That should give you a better idea of your wait but it does depend largely on how many AA/BR situations your agency gets.
