I just wanted to clarify that attachment disorder/issues are related to not having a primary caregiver that is why it is more likely that children in an orphanage setting will have to work through this. Also, babies develop at attachment to a primary caregiver between the ages of 3-6 months so for children who are able to come home at a young age this is also less of an issue. I am very thankful that Isabel is in a foster home as our process is one of the slower ones. I think the orphanages in Guatemala are pretty good and don't at all compare to orphanages in Russia or the Ukraine.
