Autism & bfamilies
I'd like to know if any of you parents of adopted autistic children...who did not know the child was autistic at the time of adoption...have any contact with birthfamilies? I'd be interested in hearing your experiences. What, if anything, has changed in relation to whatever contact you have/had?
..and also if there are any birth moms or dads reading this, I'd also be interested in your experiences upon learning of the diagnosis.
