I also was feeling bad about praying to get a placement. We are now in the process of changing agencies and when I told the licensing worker that I felt terrible about wishing for a placement because it meant that a child was in a terrible situation, she said not to feel bad because there are many children in abusive homes whether they are being removed or not. Remember, these children are out there, when you pray to have a child placed in your home, God know your heart and knows you are praying to have a child safe and loved in your home instead of suffering and being scared.
