Benedicta, I certainly keep you and your son in my prayers as reunion has given me a peace of mind.
Forgiveness for me has been more to do with my parents and it took reunion with my son to learn to forgive them. This took months as I hadn't realized the extent of my anger towards them and what they had put me through. I was also angry for them lying to him about not knowing where I was for years and not telling me they had contact with him. In effect they delayed our reunion by almost three years.
For a while I even pitied them as they don't realize the damage they have done nor will they ever.
