We used this on our pickup trip with Brooklyn. I have heard others say it isnt for takeoff or landings but Brooklyn had it on for both on a couple different planes...and nothing was said. It works if the child is sitting on your lap too. You can put it through your own seat belt plus there was plenty of wiggle room!
I loved the extra security that if we hit turbulance that she wouldn't go flying out of my arms.....Beth
