But after some prayer, it occurred to me that the workers were just too weird. (As Mike is already learning) I found myself giving them scenarios that we could anticipate. That scared me. And when this kid acted out, everybody pays. I could them tying my hands as a parent and then blaming me when everything fell apart, using that as an excuse to retrieve him. That's OK

So I walked away (from him, not the fight - as you already know) I’ve since been placed with a boy. He's acting out on his end to try to put a roadblock on the adoption. He had interrupted previously. I think he figured out that having a father who teaches at a prison would not be an easy card to play so he had better try anything he can on his turf. Smart kid. His worker continues to be hopeful, but I see this as drawing out so I opened my option, determined not to be broadsided again.

Get out there Yolanda, cast your bread on the water. You're not getting any younger (that's what I remind myself) if it's meant to be, it will happen. Before I was officially placed with my son Andrew, I kept my studies out there I said, "Lord open, or closed the door as YOU WILL, not my will." and he did, and He will. I know you have a lot of money and time invested in this proposition. Been there too. I had to think of it as a trip to Europe, I could swallow that. Anyway it worked for me, you'll have to come up with your own analogies.

You go girl…

Your bro...
