I agree, typos are major issue w/PGN. I think in the name affadavit, to really look through your dossier, letters of reference, etc. and find any variation of your name. In my case, one of my references listed me as "aunt" xxxx to her children. I was so worried since "aunt" xxxx wasn't in my name affadavit, and thought it would get kicked out (discovered the error after it was sent to GC), but luckily it did not---lucked out on that one.
Also, my agency wanted me to include a male role model letter (I'm single) and even an addendum to my medical report to say that I've struggled w/infertility. These weren't required by PGN, but my agency wanted to make sure, just in case.
I think if I had to do it over again, I would read through my dossier ALOUD to another person and have someone else do the same. It's amazing what you can miss just reading to yourself but reading aloud you might catch errors better. I had a big one in my dossier that neither I nor my agency caught
