My agency told me that we have not gotten authorization from the embassy as of yet because a few more docs were needing to be gathered by the lawyers.

I have heard that the embassy has made an impossible request to the lawyers, something about original birth certificates or medical records. I also heard that the lawyers are suppose to meet with embassy officials in order to state their case.

Does anyone have any more info about this? Have the lawyers met with the officials? Do you know if any authorizations have been given in the past week? Are things at a stand still if you are waiting on DNA authorization?
