My older son slept in ours when we traveled from a newborn until he was 2.5 and wouldn't fit anymore. Daniel and Lauren use it if we have guests and need to get one of them out of their room. I would just follow the same guidelines as a crib. No pillows, soft blankets, stuffed animals, etc.

Thanks, Debbie. I just ordered a play yard, so maybe I can use that by my bed for the time being. I suppose I'll use that instead of buying a separate cosleeper.
